Gilbert Gouentoueu, Ministry Center Director of DAI-Côte d’ Ivoire, turns Christian leaders’ gaze away from their country’s conflicted past towards an attainable and sustainable future filled with hope. That change starts with their acts of servant leadership.
Pastor Kaya, heeded Gilbert’s advice. He planted a church in a neighborhood riddled with crime and disease called Le Cimetière (The Cemetery). Thanks to his church’s presence and the congregation’s aid to those around them, the community is now known as Espoir (Hope).
