David Johnson

In September 2008, David Johnson joined DAI as Senior Consultant for Latin America after fourteen years with HCJB Global. Dave was born to missionary parents and attended primary and secondary school in Ecuador. He continued his education in the United States, earning Bachelors and Masters degrees from Azusa Pacific University. Upon completing his undergraduate degree David spent six years playing and coaching soccer with Athletes in Action and two Major Indoor Soccer League teams. He then went on to work at Azusa Pacific Univeristy, serving in a number of academic and administrative roles. In 1996, David was appointed Executive Director of HCJB Global and served as President from 2001-2008.
David's focus at DAI is to initiate, design and develop the ministry of DAI throughout
the Latin America region.
David and his wife Sue have four children and seven grandchildren.
