John serves with DAI as Senior Consultant for Non-Formal Training and Adult Education and is based in London.

Prior to a move into full-time Christian ministry, John worked in the adult education sector in UK. In 1983, he began work with Feba Radio. Over the next eight years, he served in a variety of leadership roles overseas with the ministry. In 1991, John returned to UK and to the training field, joining Interdev as Director of Training. Over the next 12 years, he developed curriculum and delivered a variety of partnership training workshops and training of trainer courses throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. In 2004 John joined the Langham Partnership as their UK and Ireland Executive Director, continuing to be in demand to lead training workshops around the world. He also spent time writing the module on partnerships for DAI's MA Program.

John joined the DAI team in January 2006 where his major responsibilities include the development of new materials for the training of DAI's staff and volunteer trainers. As well as the module on partnerships for the MA program, he has also re-written the module on Teaching and Learning for Impact, and is currently working on a project to revise the non-formal leadership course materials. He also serves as a trustee of the South African Missions Trust and is chairman of the trustees of Feba Radio.
